Repeat-company evidence

AI layoffs by company

Companies with two or more documented workforce events. These hubs group evidence for navigation; they do not collapse varying AI attribution into a single causal claim.

Last updated data

9 company timelines currently qualify. Each card shows the latest event verification date.

Which companies have repeat tracked events?

Reported or estimated headcount is event-based, not a unique-person total.

Where can I find every company?

The AI layoff tracker includes all 59 named companies, including those with only one documented event. The 2026 view narrows the record by event date.

What should readers know?

Why are only some companies listed?

A company hub is created only when two or more tracked events share the same company slug. Single-event companies remain available through the full tracker.

What does a company total mean?

It sums reported or estimated headcount attached to tracked events, excluding role-equivalent claims. It is not a count of unique people because rounds can overlap or include plans and estimates.

Does a company hub establish a pattern of AI causality?

No. It groups records for navigation. Every event retains its own attribution type, strength, confidence, evidence notes, and sources.
